Day 4 in perfect weather

Today we had great weather all day but unfortunately we also had a few accidents.

First the good thing  The weather was perfect  no wind, sun, 25 c and lots of swoops we started out with 4 speed rounds from the Cessna after that we went for accuracy from  the beach 90 and got 3 jumps before that plane broke down too. Then we went for the Otter and got 4 more jumps in, At the debriefing i got told that if it was a competition I would have won for to day. And i actually had some pretty nice runs in my VC 96 today. Getting all the water points landing in zone 3-4 and on some of them sliding into penalty cone 6wich is not the best but still ok. We had as mentioned a few incidents today first there was a few swoopers touching the water a little harder than expected. On jump no 8 one of the Ukraine's dipped he’s knees into the water and splashed pretty hard turned 180 up side down so he’s foot got stuck in the risers and he landed upside down with he’s head first. So he was taken to the hospital foe a safety check… He got back a few hours later pretty bruised but ok. On the last jump Matt had a reserve ride and the canopy flew pretty far away and landed in a lake so he had to swim for it. So all in all a really good day. DSC00229

Tomorrow is my last day here in Colorado after that i will be in California flying my wingsuit over Lake Elsinore…

And here is a really good reason to wearing a helmet for swooping
